Acceptor Responsibilities

If a hazard occurs which could or is suspected to give rise to Danger during the work, the Acceptor must withdraw all persons from the area and report the situation immediately to a Safety Controller.

Quite often this initial contact is to the person who issued

the safety document – the Issuer. You should:

• Ensure all work has ceased and all personnel withdrawn
• Area is secure to prevent others being affected by the hazard
• Contact the Safety Controller, and report your actions.
